Voters can already see the impact of the 2026 bond program.
One of the first purchases approved by the Raymore-Peculiar Board of Education is a mobile security camera system designed to strengthen safety across the district. Unlike permanently mounted cameras, the portable system can be moved wherever additional security coverage is needed.
The cameras will make their debut at Panther Stadium, helping provide enhanced monitoring during athletic events and other large gatherings. Over time, the system can also be used at special events, construction sites, parking lots and other district locations as needs change.
The purchase was identified as a priority following a comprehensive review of the district's security needs and reflects the district's commitment to making thoughtful, long-term investments that support the safety of students, staff and visitors.
As additional bond projects move forward, the district will continue sharing updates so the community can see how the 2026 bond program is being put to work to support students and schools.
