The Raymore-Peculiar Council of PTAs is proud to recognize Michelle Houston as the 2026 Volunteer of the Year! For many years, Michelle has generously given her time and energy to countless causes across the district, making a lasting impact on students, staff, and families alike.
From her involvement with PTA at Creekmoor Elementary and East Middle School, to her dedication to Band Boosters at the high school, Michelle’s commitment has been unwavering. Through the Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation, she serves as chair of RayPec Cares and Taste of RayPec, while also supporting the organization as a part-time administrative assistant.
Behind the scenes, Michelle has contributed thousands of volunteer hours, always focused on helping others and never seeking recognition. Her caring nature, thoughtful approach, and exceptional attention to detail ensure that every event she touches runs seamlessly. Michelle’s quiet leadership and selfless service embody the very best of our community, and we are honored to celebrate her!
