Our April board meeting gave us the chance to celebrate and recognize some truly outstanding members of the Ray-Pec community!
Members of the Raymore-Peculiar High School Student Council were recognized for being named a Gold Level recipient of the Missouri Association of Student Councils Honor Council Award. This is the highest honor awarded to student councils in the state of Missouri. The Student Council sponsor is Emily Craig.
Jill Teale, owner of Sign Gypsies, was recognized for her outstanding partnership with the District. Beyond providing quality yard signs, she consistently shows up to celebrate students and staff in meaningful ways—often giving her time and support.
Stacie Mallory, who represented the PROP-RP Bond Committee, was recognized for the committee's dedication and time in promoting the recent Bond Election. The committee's efforts helped ensure that voters were informed and connected to the work happening in our schools.
Also included in the board meeting were students from Stonegate Elementary who presented some examples of why they love being a Stingray and a performance by RPHS senior, Sophia Williams.
