Raymore-Peculiar is excited to announce Amanda Barr as the next principal of Bridle Ridge Elementary, beginning with the 2026–27 school year.

Barr brings more than 20 years of experience in education, including 18 years as an elementary classroom teacher. She joined the district as an instructional coach in 2021 and currently serves as an administrative intern at Stonegate Elementary. She is also in her third year serving as an elementary summer school principal.

Her experience within the Raymore-Peculiar School District has provided a strong understanding of the community and will support a seamless transition into this role. Throughout her time in the district, her leadership has focused on supporting teachers, strengthening instruction, and building strong relationships with students and families.

Known for her student-centered approach, Barr leads with integrity and values open, effective communication. She is committed to fostering a positive school culture, supporting professional growth through instructional coaching, and creating meaningful learning experiences for all students. Families and staff can look forward to a leader who listens, collaborates, and builds on the strong foundation already in place at Bridle Ridge.
