2025 Ray-Pec High school student athletes sign their letters of intent to continue their athletic journey.

Raymore–Peculiar High School celebrated an exciting milestone on November 12, 2025, as ten outstanding student-athletes officially signed their National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Surrounded by family, teammates, coaches, and friends, these Panthers were honored during the school’s Fall Signing Day ceremony, marking years of dedication, growth, and achievement in their respective sports.

Meet the 2025 Fall Signing Class:

Gabe Voelker – Michigan State University (Cross Country / Track & Field)
A four-year varsity letter winner, Voelker leaves behind a decorated career that includes six All-State honors and a state championship title. He will compete at the NCAA Division I level for Michigan State University.

Reygan Ackley – Lehigh University (Softball)
A standout for Ray-Pec softball, Ackley is a four-year varsity letter winner and has earned 2x All-Conference, 2x All-Region, 3x All-District, and 3x Academic All-State honors. She will take her talents to Lehigh University to compete in NCAA Division I softball.

Carmen Boxberger – Marshall University (Softball)
Boxberger, a four-year letter winner, has earned All-Conference, All-District, All-Region, and All-State recognition throughout her career. She will continue playing softball at Marshall University in NCAA Division I competition.

Kelsie Donaldson – North Carolina State University (Softball)
Donaldson, a four-year letter winner, has earned 2x All-State honors and recognition as an NFCA All-American. She will compete for North Carolina State University at the NCAA Division I level.

Kaden Jenkins – Emporia State University (Baseball)
Jenkins, a three-year letter winner, has been named 1st Team All-District, 2nd Team All-Conference, and 2nd Team All-State. He will continue his baseball career at Emporia State University (NCAA Division II).

Taylor Nussbeck – Truett McConnell University (Softball)
Nussbeck, a three-year letter winner, earned 2nd Team All-District and Academic All-State honors. She will play softball for the Truett McConnell Bears at the collegiate level.

Clint Olson – Hutchinson Community College (Baseball)
Olson is a four-year letter winner who has earned 1st Team All-District, 2nd Team All-State, and 2nd Team All-Conference honors. He was named Ray-Pec’s Defensive Player of the Year (2024) and Offensive Player of the Year (2025), and also received Honorable Mention All-State recognition. Olson will continue his baseball career at Hutchinson Community College.

Elijah Smith – Rockhurst University (Cross Country / Track & Field)
Smith, a four-year letter winner, earned First Team All-Conference, First Team All-District, and All-State honors. He is also the record holder at the Trailblazer Invitational in the 3200m. Smith will compete for Rockhurst University in NCAA Division II cross country and track & field.

Sophie Terry – Murray State University (Basketball)
A four-year varsity letter winner, Terry has earned 3x All-Conference and 2x All-District honors and has surpassed 1,000 career points. She will continue her basketball career at Murray State University, competing at the NCAA Division I level.

DeZephen Walker – University of Oklahoma (Football)
Walker, a four-year varsity letter winner, has earned All-Conference, All-District, and All-State honors. He was also named the Panthers’ Team Offensive Player of the Year. Walker will join the storied football program at the University of Oklahoma, competing in NCAA Division I football.

Ray-Pec Activities Director Jerald VanRheen praised the group for their achievements and commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
