Girls Golf

At Ray-Pec, students are excelling in ways that highlight both their hard work and the meaningful opportunities available to them.

The Ray-Pec Girls Golf Team was named Fox 4’s Team of the Week after a historic start to the season, winning 19 straight regular-season events and setting a new school record team score before their first loss last week.

Meanwhile, senior Gabe Voelker was recognized as the Hy-Vee and KMBC 9 Athlete of the Week after capturing the individual title in cross country at the Todd Warner Invitational.

In addition, senior Reagan Barton was honored as Cass Career Center’s Young Professional of the Month for September, an award sponsored by the Cass County Elks Lodge 2791. A student in the Criminal Justice/CSI Program and Co-Captain of her class, Reagan was nominated for her dedication, leadership, and commitment to helping others. From completing leadership training to volunteering her own time to prepare for the school year, she has made a meaningful impact on her program and peers. Her recognition reflects the opportunities Ray-Pec students have to lead, grow, and make a difference in both school and community.
