Dr. Glenna Bult

Dr. Glenna Bult is the new Director of Secondary Education for the District, effective this month.

Bult comes to the district from the Grain Valley School District, where she has been Director of Curriculum and Instruction since 2016.

Before that, from 2006 to 2016, she held Assistant Principal positions at Grain Valley High School, Truman High School, and Osage Trails Middle School. Earlier, she was a math teacher at Fort Osage High School from 2000 to 2006.

The School Board in May approved the hiring of Bult. She replaces Dr. Kristel Barr, who is now the Chief Academic Officer for the Ray-Pec School District.

Bult said she is excited about her new position at Ray-Pec.

“Through the years, I have heard about and seen the great work Ray-Pec is doing to meet all students’ needs by providing a variety of opportunities,” Bult said. “I cannot wait to dig in and work with the great team at Ray-Pec. I think the last year years overseeing K-12 teaching and learning has provided me with a great experience setting me up to better serve the area of secondary education.”

Bult earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics at William Jewell College. She received a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in secondary education/administration from the University of Central Missouri, and an educational specialist degree in administration from William Woods University.
