Last day of school announcement: May 21
The Raymore-Peculiar School District has made a minor adjustment to the end-of-year calendar to ensure required instructional time is met.
The last day of school for students will move from May 20 to May 21. May 21, 2026 will be an early release day for students. The last day for staff will remain unchanged on May 22.
This adjustment accounts for a day of instruction lost earlier in the school year. It also allows the district to maintain flexibility with remaining AMI days while continuing to support student learning and staff planning. We appreciate your flexibility and partnership as we work to provide meaningful learning experiences through the final days of the school year.

As part of a week 6 project and through the generosity of a RayPec Foundation grant kindergartners learned about 3 different Missouri birds: Screech Owl (Darwin), American Kestrel Falcon(Cheeto) and a Broad Winged Hawk named Java. We learned how different birds make their nests and look unique.
Join us this Wednesday for dinner at Mojitos and support Timber Creek's PTA. We are looking for 4th and 5th grade volunteers to help with this night.
Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens February 26th.

Congratulations to our Timber Creek spelling contestants, Malone Blanchard, Athena Privett and Sam Schmidt. A special congratulations to Sam Schmidt , 5th grader, for achieving runner-up in the district-wide spelling bee competition! This annual event allows students from grades 4 to 8 to showcase their spelling skills and creativity. We are proud of this outstanding accomplishment that highlights the spirit of learning and achievement at Timber Creek. Great job!
