Congratulations to our Timber Creek spelling contestants, Malone Blanchard, Athena Privett and Sam Schmidt. A special congratulations to Sam Schmidt , 5th grader, for achieving runner-up in the district-wide spelling bee competition! This annual event allows students from grades 4 to 8 to showcase their spelling skills and creativity. We are proud of this outstanding accomplishment that highlights the spirit of learning and achievement at Timber Creek. Great job!

Support for Families Experiencing Financial Challenges
We know that some families in our community are facing unexpected financial changes. With many federal employees and contractors affected by recent furloughs or workforce reductions, we want to remind families that help is available through our school nutrition program.
If your householdโs income has changed, your child may now qualify for free or reduced-price school meals โ
Even if you applied earlier in the year and were not eligible at that time.
Our Child Nutrition team is here to help. Families who have already applied and were denied or families that need to make a change in income can call 816-892-1370 for assistance in updating income information to see if they now qualify.
Those who have not yet applied are encouraged to do soโapplications are accepted throughout the school year and can be submitted at any time when financial circumstances change.
