🛩️🚁✈️ Virtual Adventure Time! 🌟 Hey everyone! Just wanted to share the incredible experience our kindergarteners had last week! 🌟 Our little explorers embarked on a thrilling virtual field trip to the Museum of Aviation in Georgia, and it was nothing short of amazing! 🛫🚁 Through the magic of technology, they soared through the skies, discovering what makes planes fast and slow, and how helicopters gracefully take to the skies. 🤩✈️ It's so heartwarming to see our youngsters' curiosity taking flight, even in the digital world. Learning is an adventure, and today, we flew high! 🚀🌍 Big thanks to our wonderful PTA for sponsoring the field trip and making this journey possible! 🙌💙 #VirtualFieldTrip #YoungAviators #LearningIsFun

🐝📚🍯 What a sweet adventure for our amazing 1st-grade classes! 🍯📚🐝 Our amazing little researchers have been diving deep into the world of community helpers, and today, they got the sweetest experience ever! 🍯🐝 Our class had the incredible opportunity to meet a local beekeeper, who shared their how bees and beekeepers play a vital role in our community. The kids were all ears as they learned about the importance of these tiny pollinators in our ecosystem. And guess what? They even got to taste the fruits of their newfound knowledge - pure, golden honey straight from the hive! 🍯🐝🌼 The excitement was off the charts, as they savored the delicious honey, a true gift from our hardworking bees. Big thanks to our beekeeper for this unforgettable experience! #CommunityHelpers #FirstGradeAdventures #BeekeepingFun #LearningIsSweet 📖🍯

This week 5th grade classes had the opportunity to conduct exciting experiments that caused big chemical reactions. Students were able to witness firsthand how matter can undergo change. Science is all about curiosity, exploration, and discovery, and the kids are loving every minute of it.

Make sure your student's immunizations are up to date for the new school year. This particularly impacts students entering kindergarten, 8th grade, and high school. The Cass County Health Department is offering walk-in clinics July 31 through Aug. 18 for back to school immunizations. You may also obtain the vaccinations at your health care provider. Next week during the book fair we will be celebrating how we all come together as a community, no matter what our differences are, to take care of each other, our families, our school, and our city. Donations: We will be collecting items for the RayPec School Foundation. Each item collected, not only will go to helping students and families in our school district but will also get SG students into a raffle to possibly win a prize themselves. Another way to be entered into the raffle is to participate in the dress-up days. It is a way to have fun and participate in something the whole school gets involved in. Also, parents, grandparents & other relatives, and friends of our school, will be welcomed to come in to volunteer and help with our book fair (sign-ups will come out soon).
