Ending the year with a few more Positive Office Referrals! Go Tigers!

Our fifth graders enjoyed celebrating together one last time before they move on to middle school! So much laughter and fun! Shout out to our fifth grade teachers and parents for all their help and support!

RE Field Day was a blast! Thank you to Mrs. Dobson for planning a fun filled day! Shout out to all our parent volunteers!

5th graders researched an animal in their science and ELA classes last week. They then constructed a model of their chosen animal using boxes. As part of the project, they calculated the volume of each box and then determined the total volume.
After completing their models, the students could read their books to their 2nd-grade buddies, with their animal models displayed nearby!

Ms. Mason’s 3rd grade class enjoys a GLOW PARTY, which the school earned by filling our Tiger Paw rewards!

Dear RE 5th Graders: The future is calling, and you're ready to answer! Oh, the places you will go!

More than 100 Ray-Pec staff members recently completed CPR/AED training! The training was sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City and was provided free to employees by the Raymore-Peculiar Wellness Team. After completing online training modules, staff gathered on May 5 at the LEAD Center to complete the assessment.

As this week ends, we want to express our gratitude for our amazing Teacher Appreciation Week. Yesterday, our wonderful PTA treated staff to a delicious Mexican lunch from Mojitos, and today, Starbucks has donated insulated drink cups to staff, and, through our partnership with Integrity, we’re wrapping up the week with a delightful Candy Bar Buffet! It’s been a fantastic way to show appreciation for our teachers!

Happy Thursday, RE Families!
You're invited to join us for our PTA Trivia Night tomorrow evening! This is our last PTA event of the school year, and we’d love to see you there. Doors will open at 6 PM, and trivia will kick off at 6:30 PM. Enjoy some popcorn, soda, and water available for purchase while you test your knowledge. Our Teacher Appreciation Week is in full swing, and on Day 2, we celebrated with our “You Are PASTA-tively Amazing” bags! 🥳 Each bag was filled with a box of pasta, a large-sized jar of pasta sauce, and 2 loaves of French bread, making dinner a breeze! But that’s not all—today the PTA treated staff to refreshing SONIC Drinks! 🍹 We can’t wait to see what Days 4 & 5 have in store! Let the excitement continue! 🎉

RE kicked off Teacher Appreciation Week with a fantastic start! In the morning, we welcomed the DonutNV truck, and in the afternoon, we treated everyone to Dole Whip Frozen Treats. Throughout the day, we played the Duck Game, with so many exciting prizes up for grabs, like the $50 Scheels gift card and zoo passes, just to name a few. What a fantastic way to celebrate our teachers!

Mrs. Wiley's 3rd-grade class conducted a fun math review. Students hunted for eggs containing various math problems inside. Then, teams worked together to solve as many problems as they could. It was so much fun!

RE Fifth Graders practiced plotting coordinate points by playing Battleship!

Last week, first graders celebrated the 120th day and their achievement of counting to 120. Activities include creating counting charts, sorting snacks, collecting items, and working on projects that revolve around the number 120. It’s a fun way for students to showcase their counting skills and engage in hands-on learning!
