If your child will be 5 years old by Aug. 1, 2024, see information about kindergarten registration and screening. As you register, you will select a time and date for an in-person screening appointment. Screening dates vary by school.

Mark your calendar for April 11 for EG Literacy Night.

We are beyond proud of our Eagle Glen Family! Not only did we reach our goal of $1,500 but we exceeded our goal by $1,000. Thank you so much to everyone who donated, because of you we can erase the school lunch debt of every student at EG. Second graders will present a check to our Child Nutrition Department after spring break.

Thank you to the Raymore Historical Society for speaking to our 3rd graders today. The kids learned all about the history of Raymore and were able to see many historical artifacts including a painting of Raymore before it was settled.

Reminder: This week our 2nd graders are raising money to pay off student lunch debt. The class that raises the most money will win a pizza party!! Tomorrow is NICKLE day, send in your nickels.

Hope to see you all tomorrow night!!

Tuesday Night is our Art Knight! We look forward to seeing you!

If you’ve driven past Peculiar Elementary School this week, you may have noticed excavation work under way at the corner of Third Street and South Street.
This corner of the school property is being developed as a pickleball court that will be available for use by students, staff, and patrons. The project is a partnership between the school district, the Peculiar Charitable Foundation, and the City of Peculiar.
The Ray-Pec School Board approved donating approximately 0.48 acre of land on the school’s site to the Peculiar Charitable Foundation. The foundation is paying to construct the courts.
The school and school district have the first right of usage for the courts, and signage posted at the courts will indicate when the court is available for public use. Parking for the pickleball court will be allowed on the 12 southern parking stalls, and signage will be posted at those stalls.

Calling all parents who have an incoming kindergartener, here is all the information you need about Kindergarten Round-Up.
