Dr. Dillon has served as a designer, educator and leader for over thirty years. His work focuses on solutions and supporting change in organizations to maximize learning. He works with schools and districts in collaborative partnership to shift thinking and break the inertia of traditional school.
The core purpose of the work continues to flow through an empathy lens that considers what the optimal design would be for students. Dr. Dillon has been involved with design projects around the globe that have included solutions for higher education pre-k classrooms; public libraries; urban, rural, suburban schools, and a number of charter and independent schools.

Congrats to the Cross Country teams this weekend at the Gans Creek Pre-State Classic! The boys won the gold division by 51 points! Medalists included Ty Figge, Carter Younger, Elijah Smith, Chase Davis, and individual champion, Gabe Voelker, who broke his own school record with a time of 15:08!


The Varsity Panthers won the Lady Eagle Joplin Invitational today at Schifferdecker Golf Course. All 5 Panthers medaled in the top 10! Addie Swan 70, 1st. Vanessa Ocampo 77, 3rd. McKenna Raymond 85, 6th. Ansley Harper 86, 7th. Alexis Brown 88, 9th.

Board member Janet Jones visited some of our littlest friends at Shull Early Learning Center today! Today they were learning how to group things by size and color! 🐟

Last night the Board of Education recognized Kaitlyn Doss and Jennifer Johnson for their National Board Certification. Last spring, both of them took steps to obtain accreditation through the National Board Certification of School Nurses.
Jennifer Johnson is the district’s nurse supervisor. Kaitlyn Doss is a nurse at the high school.
This board certification is a formal recognition of advanced knowledge, competence, and a personal commitment to excellence in the specialty of school nursing. The mission of the national board is to advance the health and learning of students, and wellness of the school community, through a rigorous national certification process. Their certification is good for 5 years.

Congratulations to you RPHS Varsity Girls' Tennis team who won the prestigious Belton Invitational tennis tournament! Individual winners included: A-flight singles winner Dulce Dunham, B-flight winner Dailyn Rodriguez, A-flight doubles winners Abigail Sheldon & Nicholina Sheldon.




English 4 students who were introduced to the Design Thinking Process yesterday through an activity where they worked in groups to solve a problem and used Legos to create prototypes for their solutions.
They will officially begin their client connected projects in the coming weeks and present on their work at Senior Drive Night in April.

Congratulations to the Cross Country teams for their impressive performances at the Lee's Summit North Invitational this weekend!
The boys pulled off an incredible team championship, beating 30 of the best teams in Kansas City by 17 points. Earning medals were Brooke Stephenson, Cooper Blevins, Elijah Smith, Chase Davis, Carter Younger, and Gabe Voelker who set a new school record on his way to victory.
