Wow! A total of 55 teachers and educators in the Ray-Pec School District graduated on May 5 from a two-year LETRS training course! LETRS teaches the skills needed to master the fundamentals of reading instruction. LETRS teaches these five essential components: phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and fluency. The trainers were Julie Stevenson and Abby Seymour from the Kansas City Regional Professional Development Center.
