Dr. Kristel Barr will be the Chief Academic Officer for the Raymore-Peculiar School District, effective in July. She currently serves as the Director of Secondary Education.
The change in duties for Dr. Barr is part of a realignment of the Academic Services Department. The changes, which were announced on April 14, do not increase the number of District administrators serving our teachers and staff, but realign responsibilities to create a more efficient separation of current duties and long-term planning.
The moves are designed to align with the Strategic Plan priorities and improve the District’s work toward its mission of preparing each student for a successful and meaningful life.
