Three medals on ribbons

Congratulations to Ray-Pec High School music students on their success at the 2023 MSHSAA State Solo & Small Ensemble Festival on April 29 at the University of Missouri. Here are our results:

Band Department State Medalists:

Gold Medalists:

Orchestra had two soloists go to MSHSAA State:

  • Dailyn Rodriguez, cello - Bronze Rating
  • Jocelyn Smith, violin - Bronze Rating


Choir Department State Medalists:

Ray-Pec singers had a record-breaking day with 16 entries receiving gold medals, four silver medals and one bronze medal. In all, choir students came home with 67 gold medals. This solidly breaks the record 44 from last year.
