Sports/activity physicals

Students (grades 7-12) planning to participate in athletics and marching band must have a completed, current physical on file with the high school Activities Office before practice begins. Physicals are good for two years from the date of the exam with physician approval.

Physical Form

The form includes three pages. Any student without a current physical on file will not be allowed to attend practice/try-outs until submitting the completed form.

MSHSAA Interscholastic Activities and Athletics

The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) governs these activities and sports. An activity physical uploaded to PRIVIT, conditioning, and/or tryouts are required.

Activities

Activity fee

A student activity fee of $50 will be charged to all middle school and high school students participating in athletics, speech and debate, and scholar bowl. At the high school level, the fee is also charged for participation in choir and band. There will be a maximum of $100 charged to an individual student or $150 charged to an individual family, regardless of the number of students and activities. With payment of an activity fee, students will receive an activity pass, which grants entrance into high school home football and basketball games. There is also a catastrophic insurance fee of $5 for students participating in a sport or activity.

Ray-Pec Athletic Booster Club

The Ray-Pec Athletic Booster Club is a non-profit organization to encourage parent participation and to raise funds to enhance and expand the athletic programs available to students at Ray-Pec High School. The Booster Club provides financial support beyond the school budget to support all athletic programs at the high school. Sign up online

Handbook

All student athletes and their parents are required to review the handbook. When the Privit account is created/updated, it acknowledges that the athlete and the parents have received, reviewed, and understand the policies set forth by the Athletic/Activities Department and MSHSAA regarding concussions. Student Athletic Handbook

Concussion information

Raymore-Peculiar High School participates in a pre-screening process and after-injury evaluation for all student athletes regarding concussions and head injuries. Parents must sign a statement (from the student athletic handbook) indicating they have received information about concussions and head injuries. This acknowledgement is signed when the Privit accounts are created/updated. Concussion Information
